Synopsis
The film enters the mind of an endurance swimmer on a journey throughBritain’s waterways, using sound and images to penetrate his thoughts,feelings, dreams, nightmares, memories, escape.
Director
Graduated of the National Film and Television School in 1995, Lynne Ramsay won the Jury Prize at Cannes in 1996 for her short, Small Deaths. In 2002, her second feature, Morvern Callar was selected for the Directors’ Fortnight. We Need to Talk About Kevin, her most recent feature, was shown in Cannes in 2011.
