Synopsis

In the Ethiopian countryside a lot can happen on the long way to the market. A father and his son follow all the people’s good advice…and come back to their senses. Adaptation of a folk Tale.

Daniel Taye Workou

Daniel Taye Workou, born 1969 in Berlin of Ethiopian origin. He graduates in International Relations and works for several NGO’s before entering the Graduate Film Program at Columbia University, New York. He goes on to shoot music documentaries, videos and concert films. He is cofounder of BiraBiro Films, Ethiopia. Menged his first fiction short has been shot in and around his grandfather’s village in Ethiopia.
