Menace II Society

Fortnight 1993, Feature film, 1 h 30

Synopsis

Caine is a typical product of Watts, one of Los Angeles’ hottest districts. When he was still a child, he lost his father, killed in a drug deal, and his mother, who died of an overdose. Raised by his grands-parents, he soon got tired of his grandfather’s sermons. You never know in advance what may happen in Watts. The day Caine walked into a Korean grocery, he only wanted a beer… but got involved in an armed robbery and became a murder accomplice.
