A poetic exploration involving the director’s search for the real identity of her great-uncle, Henry Hall. Each member of her family concocts a different story about this mysterious relative. He is variously described as a murderer, Churchill’s chauffeur, croupier or gambler, war hero, spy for M15 or the Mossad. During the investigation, we discover some facts, but the memory of Henry Hall remains obscure and his personal story elusive. Born in Israel, Michale Boganim grew up and studied in France. She returned to Israel before studying directing at Britain’s National film and Television School, where she wrote and directed several shorts, including Dust. She now lives and works in Paris.
