La Vérité sur l’imaginaire passion d’un inconnu
Writing, filming, discovering « The Truth about the imaginary passion of a stranger », I wanted to give back to the Scriptures from John’s Gospel its original modernity in a modern cinematographical language. At dawn one morning, on a wooden cross, a girl, stupid or visionary, discovers a dead crucified man at the entrance of a small village in the South of France. We are in 1977. Is it possible to listen to Jesus’ Word and hear It in 1977? What possible options are there for the Suffering Man who use the Word as a weapon ? Marcel Hanoun
Born in 1929 in Tunis, he works as a journalist and photograph from 1951. Since 1953, he works as a cinematographer and a director on corporate films. He then directs his first short film in 1955 and his first long feature in 1959.
