How can one talk as accurately as possible about Childhood and Sexuality in the Land of Islam, just when taboos are reappearing, stronger than ever ? How can one expose the joy and the easy way of life stille beating as the eternal pulse of society, in spite of the clichés and dogmas of any origin ? Ferid Boughedir

Born in Tunis, he was Alin Robbe-Grillet and Fernando Arrabal’s assistant. For many years, he became well kown, as one of the most famous African and Arabic film critics. His articles and works about African and arabic cinema history lead her to direct two documentaries: Camré d’Afrique and Caméra Arabe were shown in 1983 and 1987 at the Cannes Film Festival and are now considered as reference. Halfaouine is her first fictional feature film.
