Faut pas rire du bonheur

Fortnight 1994, Feature film, 1 h 25

Synopsis

Michel is 45 and he just lost his wife. Everything will start on Christmas night, in a bar. During that night, Michel meets André who is going to spend Christmas with his family and then Nadine. He gets the advances of Mrs Garcia and attends the suicide of a dishonoured man. He is chased after by some inquistive passers-by and rescued by Dominique, a suspicious transvestite who keeps his raincoat. And there is also this waiter who keeps following him everywhere, this stroller and his dog and this African couple who is selling drawings for the blinds… No, really everything is getting too complicated. Fortunately Nadine and Michel escape that night full of coincidences. Michel gives away his secret. Nadine, hers. Then, we will understand everything…
