Echos D’Alger 1955
The production of « Échos d’Alger 1955 » coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Algerian Revolution. It is the story of a young conscript who refuses to go to war ; the film is to be a contribution to this commemoration.
The events and mentalities described in the film are not shown to be seen as a set memory, but as a contemporary reading.
Born in 1945, Franck Cassenti is a film director, documentary filmmaker for cinema and television, and stage director as well. He directs his first short feature in 1968, « Flash Parc », and his first long feature in 1972 : « Salut Voleurs ».
