Synopsis
Michel, a breeder in eastern France, uses the winter calm to spend some time with his young apprentice, Francis. They soon become close friends.

Samuel Collardey studied cinematography at the Fémis where he has been camera operator and director of photography on many shorts including Tempête and À deux by Nikolay Khomeriki. Du soleil en hiver is his graduate short.
