Nouri Bouzid

Born in Sfax, he studied cinema in Brussels. He was imprisoned in Tunisia (failure to toe the party line). He started working as an assistant and directed his first feature films: L’Homme de Cendres and Les Sabots en Or, both shown in Cannes film festival. He also adapted literature works.
