Born in Abidjan in 1980, Katell Quillévéré studied film and philosophy at the University of Paris 8. In 2004, she founded and organized with Sébastien Bailly the first three editions of the Rencontres du Moyen-Métrage in Brive.
At the same time, she directed À bras le corps, her first short, discovered at the Directors’ Fortnight and selected for the 2007 Césars. Subsequently she made two other shorts, L’Imprudence, and L’Echappée, which were seen in numerous festivals.

Born in Abidjan en 1980, Katell Quillévéré studied film and philosophy in Paris. In January 2003, she founded with Sébastien Bailly the First Short Film Encounters in Brive, as part of the French Directors’ Guild. A bras le corps is her first film.
