Born in Toronto in 1956, he started his career in theatre. He graduated from the National School of Theatre ans directed several plays for different companies. He directed dramas for radio and also worked as an actor for films and series on TV.
He wrote two short films that won several awards: Hockey Night and The Umpire. He worked with the screenwriter Sharon Corder, for exemple on writing and producing many series on TV ( Traders, Max Glick etc ). They worked on the first co-production between Canada and China: Small Pleasures. Babyface is his first movie.
