She assisted young directors from Quebec in the early 70’s. She first was interested in theater and the started working in cinema. She was a script and directed her first feature film in 1975, L’Absence. This drama performed by Monique mercure and Jean Gascon is on a woman who’s father left the family home.
She then directed Brume bleue, Rien qu’un jeu and Laura Laur. Her feature film Rien qu’un jeu is about incest. It was shown in Cannes.
