A counter-culture blast of cinematic radicalism, it tackles every leftist theme there was to hand in 1970 (communism, consumerism, the threat of revisionism, anti-Americanism, sexuality, art, the dilemma of how to portray oppression without being oppressive oneself, etc) in such a revolutionary manner.
