He graduated in cinema studies at IDHEC. In 1992 and 1993, he directed two short films that won Grand Prize at Dunkerque and Clermont-Ferrand Festivals. He then directed his first feature film, Le cri de Tarzan, in 1995. He won the Jean Vigo award in 1997 with Soyons amis!.
