All things, even the simplest, can attract our attention. We are often surrounded by objects which are not in themselves attractive, but which can latch on to our imagination and conjure up associations of ideas. Obviously, some visual elements of the film consist in a psychological reaction to more or less vague memories, scattered and rather abstract, but which have been given a shape in the film.
