Steven Lippman has directed music short films, videos and documentaries for Jane Monheit, Julia Fordham and The Manhattan Transfer, among others, and was a 1998 recipient of the Peter S. Reed Foundation award. His short profiles on Philip Glass, Harold Pinter, Trisha Brown, Cirque Plume and Youssou N'Dour were broadcast on PBS as part of the 2001 Live from the Lincoln Center Festival of the Arts. He is currently preparing for his feature-film directorial debut, The History of Everything. Steven Lippman most recently directed and conceived an untitled project with Kronos Quartet.
