Gilles is a photographer. He doesn't get on well with his girlfriend anymore. She is a cover girl and works for him. When she dies in in a car accident, Gilles looks for her double he meets and falls in love with. But the young man killed an agent: the police goes after him and Gilles has to run away with the girl.
