The story, like reflections in opposite mirors, gestures, actions and words of the four characters fragment and blend to then recompose in one unity wich has no more the color of the past: the discoverig of a sense a reality makes it dramatically changing.
Gianfranco Mingozzi was born in Bologna (Italy) where he graduated in the school of Law. In Rome he studied directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and worked as Fellini’s s assistant director (La dolce vita, Boccaccio 70). In 1964 he was employed by the National film Board of Canada. His first film was the documentary La Taranta, which won the first prize at the “Festival dei popoli” (Florence 1962).
