“Melvil” is the name of a character who moves between movies and real life in search of a family, a place, a role. The film follows him through three adventures («Le Fils», «Le Recours», «Le Cinéma»), three kinds of movies, three types of representation. From father to son, from the fantastic to the intimate, we watch this stranger seek a character he can identify with, in a story that could well turn out to be his own.
