Feature film / Poland / Directors' Fortnight 1982

In LIMUZYNA, as in my previous films, ARIA DLA ATLETY and WIZJA LOKALNA: 1901, I continue my chosen subjetc: the opposition between two devastating forces that are nature and culture, creating inner conflicts. The main characters of the film are two brothers, one is fascist student, the other a liberal writer. They symbolize the human being divided between evil, with the resulting intrensigence, and kindness, with the resulting cyniscism. The events take place in the context of the germano-polish relations, about which I have tried to adaopt an honest and personal point of view, free of all historical prejudice. Filip BAJON
