Ismaël is a street mime. He mimes a statue and you'd think it was the real thing. His only problem is that the more he mimes being a statue, the less free he feels. france, his wife, tries to reassure him, but ever since she took a job as a trainee police-woman, Ismaël won't admit it, but he feels oppressed. France is afraid for their fortune. France doesn't know Alex. That's what she thinks, anyway... Alex is an introverted young man, uneasy with people, and right now he's obsessed by the reprisals he planning against his persecutors of the moment: cafe waiters. Will Alex's revenge hasten the break-up between Ismaël and France? In a way: yes and no.
