La Bataille Du Chili : La Lutte d'Un Peuple Sans Armes

Feature film / Chile / Cuba / 1h30 / 35 mm / N&B / Directors' Fortnight 1975

It is the only film about President Allende's government last year which was shot by a Chilean crew that witnessed the exceptionnal events that no other source of information could have provided. For the first time in Latin America, it was possible to shoot each day of a revolutionnary situation during its development and to systematiccaly record the fascist methods used by Imperialism and the "bourgeoisie" to bring the Popular Government to its end. THE BATTLE OF CHILE : THE STRUGGLE OF AN UNARMED PEOPLE is a trilogy whose parts are independant from each other and which can be seen together or seperately.
