Moe and Far are brothers in their mid seventies. They have lived together their entire life in a samll isolated house in the Norwegian countryside. They have their own daily routines and roles and live a quiet life in their common universe. Only Far's trip on a moped across the border to Sweden during the war - a trip never mentionned or discussed - separated them. One day, the phone rings and a Swedish voice informs them that Konrad, Far's adult son from his trip to sweden, is coming to live with them for a while, since Konrad's mother has become very ill. On July 20th 1969, at 21 hours, 17 minutes and 42 seconds, the spaceship Eagle lands on the dark side of the moon. 25 years later, while a voice comments on this great step for mankind from a large old radio, an hydraulic elevator of a bus for the physically disabled carefully lowers a strange creature in front of the two brother's house. It is Konrad. dressed in yellow, its only luggage is a large box containing birds' eggs.
