Riad Sattouf was born in Paris in 1978 and lived in the Middle East until he was 10. Based in Paris since 2000, he has been writing comic strips. He works for several publishers and magazines and has published numerous comic book albums (Retour au collège, Pascal Brutal, Manuel du puceau, Ma circoncison...) Les Beaux Gosses is his first film.
