Joachim LAFOSSE
 
 
Biography

Joachim Lafosse was born in Brussels in 1975. A graduate of IAD film school, he made his first feature Folie Privée in 2003; it competed at Locarno. In 2005, he took part in the Cannes Film Festival Atelier with his project for Révolte intime (now Elève libre). In 2006, he made Ça rend heureux, which competed at Locarno and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Premier Plans Festival in Angers, and Nue Propriété (which competed at Venice).
