Biography Pedro Aguilera was born in San Sebastian, Guipúzcoa in 1977. After obtaining a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid he worked as a storyboard artist for several publicity agencies. He attended several workshops at the Cuban School San Antonio de los Baños including Documentary filmmaking and Script writing. He went on to write, produce and direct several short films. He has worked in Mexico as assistant director of Carlos Reygadas in Battle in Heaven and of Amat Escalante in Sangre. La Influencia is his first feature.
