Bosilka Simonovitch studied modern literature at the Sorbonne. Her first short film, Vous suivez ?, was selected for the Berlin Film Festival's International Encounters section in 1997. Her third short, Chocolate Sperm, enjoyed success in a number of festivals. After being in charge of documentary films for Eva Productions, she read scripts for 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. She is currently preparing a medium-length film, Pig.
