Kleber Mendonça Filho is 36 and was born in Recife, northeastern Brazil. He graduated in journalism and has since become a film critic and cinema programmer in Recife. After working in the 90s with video making documentaries and experimental fiction, he is currently working with film made with whichever means are available (digital, 35mm, stills). His main focus is people, love and fear.
